Keeping your animal out-of-doors for Allhallows eve is just not safe any more. Study these ideas to keep your creature alive during this celebratory day.

One should not let your animal companions to pig out your halloween sweets. They are masters of getting what they want and give you the sad eyes and scrounge for one of your treats. Don't do it. Keep in mind that feeding chocolate to pets can be deadly in any amount.
Instead, go to the cupboard and whip up some pet snacks. When you or your kids are binging on the Halloween junk food, give your pet one of their home made treats. So why not give them a warm fuzzy and will stop them from becoming a beggar.
The leftover plastic from the candy is dangerous. They can be lethal if they get jammed in your pet's entrails. It can make them very sick, and in some cases your animal can pass away.

Dressing your pet in a costume can be a lot of fun. Do not forget that unless your creature is responsive to the idea of wearing a get-up, don't force them to wear one. They can be annoyed, restrictive and even cause strain in a pet that doesn't want to wear one. Keep in mind, there are a lot of folks running around and lots of loud noises. You pets are going to be under enough strain already. If your pet looks anxious or annoyed in their new costume, either remove it at once, or take it off after you've taken a few images for family and friends to show them how homely your pet looked.
Masks on your pet may sound like a groovy concept...for you! Dogs and cats rely on their eyes to let them know what's going on around them. If you confine their eyesight, they may freak out or get scared more easily, making them more probable to snap at a passer by. If you do choose to irritate your poor pet with a disguise, just ensure that you give them very big eye holes so that you don't constrain their eyes.
Unless your pets are very well adapted and very well trained, put them in a nice, quiet bedroom for the evening. That way they won't bolt out the front door when you're handing out candy. Also, if you're having a celebration, you won't have to worry about any person hurting or bothering your pets. Give them some items to eat, and check up on them systematically to ensure that they a-ok.
